If you're new to Plex, please read the setup guide before downloading Plex or attempting to watch anything. This is crucial to ensure the best experience.
Wondering if Plex is down? Click 'Server Status' in the top-right corner.
Troubleshooting
- If you are having playback issues, it's likely due to your playback settings. Ensure you have your video quality set to 'Original/Maximum' in the settings on the Plex homepage (not in the video player itself)
- If your internet connection to your streaming device is slow, you may experience buffering. Try playing a TV show that is 720p (you can tell by the resolution overlay in the top-left of each movie/show poster) and you may notice an improvement. If that's the case, your connection is simply not fast enough to play my 1080p/4k content without transcoding, which we want to avoid.
- If you care about the best possible Plex streaming, buy an Nvidia Shield TV to use as your streaming client: Amazon Link
